Review: The Lomi Home Composter
If you haven't caught on yet—there is some exciting movement in the area of home composters!
After researching for weeks to address my ever-growing interest in reducing my organic waste and adding to my resume as an official “plant daddy,” I decided that Pela’s Lomi was best suited for my needs.
Lomi is in the category of small countertop composters, but my research also included floor options that would probably be a better fit for families due to the mere size of waste it can handle. Lomi handles smaller but sufficient amounts of organic waste for a small household. And promises to supply dirt that you can put directly on your plants—which was one of my requirements.
A welcomed addition
I have been using my Lomi for nearly two months now, and I love how my organic waste is reduced to practically nothing. There is no stink, and I don’t have to change the trash so often. It already feels like a companion in my kitchen. So thank you, Pela—work well done! I’m genuinely excited whenever I open the lid to look inside after the cycle has finished.
